My vote would go to Psychic-types because I love them. My final Pokemon would be my Alakazam I'm EV training for Sp. Attack. :3

Water, dude!
Dunno why really. I've just always been a water-type person.
The majority of my favorite pokemon are water-types.

Normal types are versatile. You've got tanks and power hitters, stallers, buffers, the works.

Then again, there's that one type combination that's immune to a lot of stuff. Can't remember it off the top of my head. Probably involves Ghost and/or Dark, though...

I'll be the different one. I picked "other". I'd be playing with a balanced team of different types. Definitely a Normal (BAD-ASS CLEFABLE!) with some good special attacks and defense, definitely a Ghost type (preferably a Haunter or a Gengar), a water or ice (or a water that knows some ice moves). Ooo, and a good grass type. I'm not big on darks though...or any of the newer types.

I'd rather play with some well-trained normals. But I love psychics as well.

While I picked psychic, I have to agree that Normals have the most versatility. Not to mention the fact that ghost-type moves are pretty much useless against them.
