After two grueling weeks of on-again, off-again work on this piece, it is finally finished. So far, I think this one is the best yet of the series, followed by Eevee and Flareon, respectively. I would've been finished with this sooner, but I did the classic "fuck up one tiny detail by merging the wrong layers and not realizing it for twenty minutes" move. Swearing then followed, followed by a deep, heaving sigh, then a glass of milk, then restarting from square one.
I also learned from this piece that, when properly used, the Dodge and Burn tools are dear friends. They're my newest buddies right along with the pen tool. And since Dodge, Burn, Pen and I are such good friends now, I'm inviting them to Backgammon night next Tuesday. The model for this piece was once more  .
