I remember a time when I would play video games, read comic books, and watch movies like Star Wars or The Matrix and get ridiculed for it. Now it seems like everyone embraces these things. Did the (fingerquotes) "cool" people have some sort of meeting and secretly admit to themselves that we geeks are the cool ones?

Perhaps they realize that the geeks rule the world with our superior gaming skills, tech-support abilities, and our wicked-sexy pocket protectors.

I've always been a geek and am damn proud of it!
(I think I've been born one, one of my earliest memories is trying to memorize all kind of dinosaurs and obsessing over a gameboy in a shop :D)

Luckily, being a geek isn't "cool" over here, I hope it stays that way!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, it is indeed freaking awesome to be a geek! Why?

1. We make more money
2. We love our jobs
3. We love playing video games so much it is a distraction
4. We can pretend our car is a starship while on the freeway (punch it Chewy) and it is ok because we are geeks. It is what we do!
