I think you may be taking it too literally. To me, art is simply self-expression. And I don't believe self-expression should be something that's considered wrong.

A lot of artists (particularly one of my favorite dA artists, =Teruchan) have gotten flack from people from time to time saying the art they do is wrong or inappropriate. If you or someone you know has been affected by this, or if you just support the idea, then it and add it to your journal!

Okay I read it ...Now what ? and yes I am against him and yes I think what he is doing is child porn.....he or she . I seen his/her article on Encylopedia Dramatica and please dont say that "ED is all lies they're just jealous !"...No they have more than 3 pages on TeruChan busting him/her out for the pedophile they really are. Lets start on the sex changing note how when he was a man his english was near perfect...he capitolize his I's he knew how to use the periods and everything....But then DA started smelling the coffee and realizing that a man who has "Wife and Kids" shouldnt be drawing little animu girls in their underwear and started to tear him down even going so far as suspending him....So then in order to safe his ass he made a story saying he was a girl and that he didnt know english very well.....And guess what ????? DA ate it up like it was hottest shit around and to make sure they would believe him his english went from A+ to that of a preschooler . So yup Im against him . And people are abusing this "Its America its a free county thing " to its limit I dont think the founders of America gave rights to child porn I dont give a damn what they do in Japan or China this is America and we have over 20 laws against child porn ........And yet its different with Teru Chan ?

I appreciate you taking the time to read my comments, but I also asked you to read the comments left by others as well. I personally don't consider Teru's work to be child porn. No actual children are depicted, no real children are being exploited, and nobody gets hurt. If you look at the descriptions of Teru's work, he'll often specify the age of the character in question. But again, it's not real. For example, murder is obviously illegal and immoral. But that doesn't mean it's a crime to create a piece of art or literature that depicts such a thing. Sure, the content may be questionable, but that doesn't mean the creator should be hauled off to jail.

And furthermore, I don't even really see what the big deal is. Nobody's forcing you to look at Teru's work. If you don't like it, don't look at it. The same rule applies to my work as well. If it's not to your liking, then don't look at it and just move along. Either way, I'm not sorry and I'm not ashamed.

And I didnt say anybody was forcing me to look at that garbage he calls art I just stated that I think its shame how DA got so stupid and lowered its standards to this ! [link] Now look at that !
